It's snowing hard here this morning. 5cm accumulated in less than an hour in most places.
Normally I wouldn't care, alas I'm upset cos there was no snow in the forecast! At all!
Yes, it's winter still technically in Vancouver, but as soon as we hit double digits we start taking the fur lining out of our sandals coos it's now Spring. This is not the case this morning/today/moving towards afternoon.
More upset with myself that I did not look outside before leaving the house so I could have changed my shoes to boots. :(
For those of you not living in BC, Canada, the snow here isn't like it is elsewhere in the country. When it snows in BC, it's wet and heavy. Like falling slush. Rarely does it snow in the city like it does on the mountains. Light, fluffy, fun to play in. This is just white rain.
Waaa waaa waaaa. Ok I think I'm done, for now. :)
I know, someone at lunch today said "It's snowing in Vancouver you know." And I was all Noooooooo, there was no snow in the forecast, snow?
