April Bloom - Check her out.

A guy I met in the beer gardens at Pride Vancouver 2 years ago,  just posted this on facebook.

April is a friend of his. This is her very first YouTube video!

Very sweet sounding. Cute little song.

Check it out!
Like it? Tell her on YouTube or blog about it.

Just Breathe (2am)

This song hits a chord with me.
Seems fitting. There is a verse in the song that always makes me tear up.

2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to

Hope you enjoy.

Favorite songs Tonight.

I have nothing to blog about today.
So enjoy some of my favorite songs as of lately.
Matt79, Caleb, & Restaurant Manager.. scroll down, there is one just for you boys....eer I mean men.

This is The Adam Woodall Band ft: Colin James.
Get Carried Away is one of the songs of Colin's they do anyways, so to have him join them was a bonus.
Watch Jesse Tucker on the far left @ 1:22. CJ is his guitar hero and heard he was going to show up this night. Half way thru Colin nods at Jesse and gives him the solo.. he's grinning like santa came early.  I'm never ever disappointed when I go to see these guys play.

Then again at Savary Island, BC this summer 2010.

This is The Adam Woodall Band again, on holidays doing the acoustic version of Van Morrison's
Into The Mystic...

Ok enough about AWB, I love other songs too..

Jeremy Fisher doing a cover of Blue Rodeo's Til I Am Myself Again... on a banjo... seriously.
Watch it all the way to the end... he's a riot!

And of course the very talented ADELE
Rolling Into The Deep

 Andrew Allen
Love his dorky nature doing The Lions Sleep Tonight

Kings Of Leon - Sex Is On Fire.
I love that the crowd is almost louder than the band
I LOVE the energy of this concert!

MATT79 - CALEB - RESTAURANT MANAGER
This one is just for you.
The Victoria Secret Walk -sex is on fire mix- all aboard.
This song couldn't have been better for this video.
Plus I love the dancers in this one.. something sexy cheeky about their moves.
Enjoy boys.

Michael Buble & 15 yr old Sam Hollyman
You Know How I Feel
He looks annoyed that this mother is pestering him...
Watch Michael's face at @ 1:20 and on... PRICELESS!!!
Best 3 mins ever
"I've got another 4 yrs til Sam wins the XFactor and drives my career into the fucking payment"

And last but not least.
Crash Karma - Next Life
This is a new super group with ex members from The Tea Party, I Mother Earth and Our Lady Peace
They now make up Crash Karma

There are video's for this song but the quality isn't the greatest.
This is the album version.

Top 5 Favourite Men.

I can write just about anything, as long as I have something to say about it.
Although now I have a deadline to write a guest post, and do you think I can think of what to write?

I know what I have to write about, and I'm well versed in it. But..... Blank....sound of crickets between my ears.  Crap. I have the worse type of writers block. The type that craps out when you're writing for someone else.

I've invested in a large bottle of wine and a new cd for tonight.
I will have my top 5 male voices plugged into my ears, set the mood with candles (before and after my bath to relax), lots of wine, maybe read some old entries and let the fingers type away in their ulterior ego.

Top male voices that can provoke all sorts of feelings.
Adam Woodall (http://www.adamwoodallband.com/flash)
Edwin G. (I Mother Earth, Solo & Crash Karma) http://crashkarma.com/
Gerald Eaton (Jarvis Church & Philosopher Kings)
Ray LaMontagne http://www.raylamontagne.com/us/home
#5 - this one rotates based on my mood. - Currently  acoustic Jason Mraz.

I say voices over bands, cos regardless of which band these men currently work within, their voices are so ridiculously perfect, they could sing the alphabet and make it sound amazing.

So I'll have my favourite men in my ears, some yummy wine and hopefully I'll be laying out an excellent entry in the next day or two.

Oldie but a good'er - Winning Team Canada Gold in mens Hockey

Sound of Vanvouver when Team Canada wins Gold in Men's Hockey.

This is the best sound for 3 mins.

There was a huge screen tv placed in the downtown core for the public to gather and watch the game.

You can hear everyone chanting LOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUU
.....Then the roar when we win.

This was taken from across the water in False Creek, Vancouver.

= Goosebumps.

And this video is inside GM Place (now Rogers Arena) The moment Crosby wins the game. This is 60,000 people INSIDE, the above video is 100's of thousands of people outside. Crosby's last goal - Winning the Gold - Inside GM Place

And this one from directly infront of the tv in the downtown core. where all the noise is coming from. On the street

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey, I cry.

This sums up my Saturday night, at the Rusty Gull watching one of my favorite bands, Rosco and my intro to Double Whiskey's, neat. Drinking with friends in town.

Well I like a full bodied lager as much as the next hardworkin' man

The taste of suds while dealin Stud, I can surely understand
Trucker's speed and yes indeed, it's nearly gettin' light,
It's time to switch to whiskey, we've been drinkin' beer all night.

You can fish for bass and cut your grass and drink that purple gas,
Sure enough, but the powerful stuff that'll knock you on yo' ass
Like diesel fuel, nobodies fooled, don't wanna get left behind
It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin' beer all night

It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin' beer all night,
We're all half dead and them that's left is spoilin' for a fight,
Well who'da thunk we'd quit drinkin' drunk
The boys don't spare the rye,
It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin beer all night

I've been splittin 8's and hittin my straights, in the card rooms of the world
Chasin' skirt and gettin' hurt, but now I gotta card playin' girl,
Man she gets excited when the deal don't come out right,
It's time to switch to whiskey, we've been drinkin' beer all night.

It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin' beer all night,
We're all half dead and them that's left is spoilin' for a fight,
Well who'da thunk we'd get jackass drunk
The boys don't spare the rye,
It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin beer all night

Well I heard it said, that you can get some heat in irish pubs,
Servin jameison's to an Orangeman and a bushmills to his cuz,
Here's what you do, with tullamore dew, you can meet us both have way,
it's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin beer all day

It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin' beer all night,
We're all half dead and them that's left is pullin for a fight,
Well who'da thunk we'd quit drinkin' drunk
The boys don't spare the rye,
It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin beer all night

It's time to switch to whiskey we've been drinkin' beer all night.

Rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey, I cry.
