Sucky Rain.

It's been a fairly busy week, and with the amount of rain we've been having, well, you find yourself exhausted at the end of the day. Not to mention the cold. Forecast "claims" it's about 8 degrees.  TO WHO?
I'm outside everyday and I swear to gawd that it has not been above zero since we've been back at work.
It's the kind of cold you get on the west coast that bites your face & hands when you first step outside.
8 degree weather does not do that.
Shit 8 degrees is almost the beginning of Spring in Vancouver...

So I came up with this theory. Weather networks have all conspired to lie about the real temperature to avoid people bitching or panicking in some cases.  Why? I have no idea who it would benefit to lie about such a thing. I sincerely hope they start getting it right or check the damn thermostat that they are getting their readings from, cos it's way off!

How lame is this that I truly have nothing to talk about other than the weather? Don't get me wrong, I like weather, I'm a little fascinated by it at times.  But who wants to read this? Not me, and I'm writing the damn thing.

On to other news-ish.

Back in November I enquired a new queens size pull out couch, that friggin weighed 1000 lbs.
A king size bed and a 52" TV.  I've had the couch since November and its lovely still. :)
Got the call on Tuesday that I should be receiving the bed and TV tomorrow. WOOT!

Only problem is, since that conversation, I haven't been able to reach my friend to confirm a time of arrival.  And if both or coming or is it just the TV this week? I've moved everything out of my bedroom to make room for the monster of a bed that will take up all its room. I don't want to unplug my TV tonight and move it into the guest room tonight if I don't have too.

I'll call her again tonight, however if I'm unable to reach her, then what?
Assume its being delivered and wait all day?  She's apparently arranged movers for me (which I'll pay for) as none of my friends are really equipped with the proper vehicles to assist. Hmmmmm
I'm sure I'll get a reply tonight.
